In collaboration with the Singapore Association for the Visually Handicapped (SAVH), a water level measurement device was developed as part of Nanyang Polytechnic's Integrated Multidisciplinary Project (IMP) between the School of Health and Social Science, School of Engineering and School of Information Technology.
The device uses an Arduino Nano and ultrasonic sensors to detect water levels and provide haptic feedback. Unlike existing water level devices that only offer one or two level alerts, this device can detect multiple levels, giving users more control when preparing their favourite beverages.
The project was showcased at Maker Faire 2018 and Singapore University of Technology and Design's Design Odyssey 2.0.
